Dr. Wm. Jerome Perkins
“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.” – 2 Peter 1: 3-4
Jerome is Christlife Ministries’ executive director with additional experience in Prison Ministry. Jerome received his Doctorate of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology. He is also a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Peer Coach. His favorite part about working at Christlife is he is able to empower people to be themselves. Jerome describes becoming Fatherhood Facilitator of the Year as his proudest moment at Christlife. If he could trade places with anyone in Christlife, he would choose Linda because then he could be the boss. If he was not working as executive director of Christlife, Jerome would be working as the mascot for the Detroit Lions. In an average conversation with Jerome, you may hear “Let me say this…”, “One minute, forty-five seconds”, and “Listen…”, as these are his most overused phrases. Jerome’s favorite movies are The Lion King, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Thomas Crown Affair. If he had to choose a favorite vacation he would choose his honeymoon to the Bahamas because that’s his Heaven on Earth. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events, studying the Bible and grilling/cooking. One thing you should know about Jerome is he loves to sing.
Dr. Linda Perkins
“Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly under your belt, that’s real power.” – Clint Eastwood
Linda is Christlife Ministries’ administrator with additional experience in human resources, accounting, and counseling (mothering). Linda received her Doctorate of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology. She is also a Registered Psychotherapist and Acudetox Specialist. Her favorite part about working at Christlife is helping people get their lives on track and be successful – including her staff. Linda describes, ‘hearing clients say they have changed so much that they no longer can even understand how they used to think their crime was OK,’ as her proudest moments at Christlife. If she could trade places with anyone in Christlife, she would choose no one, because she loves her job. She thinks she would make a horrible receptionist or case manager. If she was not working as the administrator of Christlife, Linda would be traveling trainer. In an average conversation with Linda, you may hear “You’re better than that” “Seriously?!” and “I can’t want it more than you do.”, as these are her most overused phrases. Linda’s favorite movies are Ghost and Dirty Dancing. If she had to choose a favorite vacation, she would choose her honeymoon to the Bahamas because she loved the clear water and company. In her free time, she enjoys reading, swimming, playing solitaire, and watching movies. One thing you should know about Linda is she’s not the nice one, but you can trust her.
“If you fall, it’s ok. Pick yourself up and reach for the stars. We all have failures in life, it’s how we come back from them, that matters.”

Amanda describes becoming an employee after volunteering for CLM as her proudest moment at Christlife. If she could trade places with anyone in Christlife, she would choose Jerome because he is able to get clients to explore who they are and what they want to be. Amanda was previously going to school for a Nursing degree before she started working at Christlife. If Amanda was not working as a case manager she would be working as a nurse. Amanda’s favorite movie is Love and Basketball. If she had to choose a favorite vacation she would choose California because she was able to experience new things and take her children to Disneyland.
